From fundraising to helping with the horses, there is always so much to do around here. Your help keeps us going.
Many of our volunteers help with horse and pony care, including grooming and feeding. They are also trained to lead and side-walk in classes, allowing meaningful engagement with our wonderful riders.
Being able to work independently is hugely appreciated - there’s always so much to do, so being able to distribute tasks really helps us get through the list.
Please note: volunteers must be 14 years or over. Our application process requires two referrals and, if you are over 16, a PVG referral. We arrange the PVG for you when you join us, and it will not cost you anything, but it does take a few weeks to arrive.
As a charity, we cannot do what we do without the help of our wonderful volunteers. We hope you’ll join us!
There’s plenty of opportunity for fresh air, leading rides around the estate or helping out in the fields.
For much of the work at the Drum, a good level of fitness is needed, but we are also grateful for office-based help. However you would like to contribute, you are welcome here!
