Connection Through Horses.

The Drum RDA is proud to announce the success of its programme Connection Through Horses. The format was developed during covid-19 as it was evident that people were feeling increasingly disconnected during these difficult times. The Drum RDA saw an opportunity to reach out and help the supported community using the horses as the teachers.

The programme is ground based; sessions teach horse husbandry and care including grooming, feeding, anatomy and general maintenance. Participants have enjoyed interacting with the horses in a safe outdoor environment whilst learning new skills.
