Our horses are our foundation. Why not adopt one?

Over the last seven decades, our horses have been the quiet heroes of the work we do. Providing therapy and love to each and every participant, they are softly strong, and teach our participants to be so too. Every horse has a story and has helped it’s riders create their own. Special bonds are formed between each rider and each horse, and we want to honour them.

We currently have nine ponies, Alfie, Banjo, Dennis, Mr Bob, Murphy, Watson, Ben and Baillie. You can see photos of them below.

All your adoption donations go directly towards the upkeep of the ponies, eg dentistry, saddle fitting, clipping, new equipment or anything they need.  If we have an unexpected or large vet bill the Adoption Fund can help with this, or if we have to buy extra hay during a long winter (or a long dry summer),  Adoption can contribute towards these cost.

If you would like to Adopt a Pony electronically you can do so by completing this form.  Just scan the form with your details added and email the form back to the above email address, then make a bank transfer to pay.  Costs of one or more ponies and account details are below.  Alternatively, you can send a cheque with the form. If you cant print the form out we can put a copy in the post to you, you only have to ask by emailing the address above, or by phoning the Drum RDA on 0131 664 5803.
